John Michael Williams, singer, songwriter, director, writer, was born in a suburb north of Boston, the oldest of eight children. He began performing at a young age, and began writing music and children's books as a teenager. He was the protégé of James Houghton, accomplished opera performer and Dean of Music at Boston University. "John's voice," Houghton said, "is a gift that comes along rarely." Clearly others agree. Singer Natalie Cole performed a duet with John, "Crazy About You," a ballad John wrote for the love theme for the film. "The Easter Egg Escapade." John is presently at work in the studio in New York completing his next CD Album which will feature among others- at least two beautiful duets.
